I’m reminded every time I step into a store that the holidays are quickly approaching. Just yesterday I heard Christmas music at the grocery store…it was November 7th!
All this music and fanfare reminded me that as employers, it is our responsibility to make sure that our employees feel supported during the holidays. Not only are we required by law to make religious accommodations, but we have a great opportunity to allow employees to share pieces of their culture and beliefs though parties, potlucks, and other social events.
